Neden Koşuyorum

İçinde bulunduğumuz koşullarda geleceğe dair planlar yapmak, kendine bir yol çizmek ve hayallerinin peşinden gitmek her geçen gün biraz daha zorlaşıyor. Oysa hiçbir gencin geleceği, yalnızca içinde bulunduğu koşullarla sınırlı kalmamalı. Herkesin potansiyelini keşfetme, kendini geliştirme ve hayal ettiği hayatı kurma fırsatı olmalı.

Belki tek başımıza tüm zorlukları ortadan kaldıramayız ama bir öğrencinin eğitim yolculuğuna destek olabilir, geleceğe daha umutla bakmasına katkıda bulunabiliriz. Bazen küçük bir destek, bir gencin hayallerinden vazgeçmemesi için çok şey ifade edebilir.

İşte bu yüzden, bu yıl İstanbul Maratonu’nun 15,5K parkurunda Türk Eğitim Vakfı (TEV) için koşuyorum.

Bu benim ilk kez bir sivil toplum kuruluşu için koşum olacak. Benim için bu koşu, yalnızca 15,5 kilometreyi tamamlamak değil; geleceğe dair karamsarlığın içinde biraz olsun umut ve aydınlık yaratabilmek demek. Attığım her adımın, eğitimine devam etmek isteyen gençlerin yolunu aydınlatmasına katkıda bulunmasını istiyorum.

Sen de bu yolculuğun bir parçası olmak ister misin?

Yapacağın her bağışla, eğitim yolunda desteğe ihtiyaç duyan gençlerin yanında olabiliriz. Çünkü inanıyorum ki eğitime yapılan her katkı, yalnızca bir öğrencinin değil, hepimizin geleceğine yapılan bir yatırımdır.

In the circumstances we are living in today, making plans for the future, charting a path for yourself, and pursuing your dreams is becoming more difficult with each passing day. Yet no young person's future should be limited by the conditions they happen to be in. Everyone deserves the opportunity to discover their potential, develop themselves, and build the life they dream of.

Perhaps we cannot eliminate all the challenges on our own, but we can support a student's educational journey and help them look toward the future with greater hope. Sometimes even a small contribution can make a huge difference in helping a young person hold on to their dreams.

That is why this year I will be running the 15.5K course of the Istanbul Marathon in support of the Turkish Education Foundation (TEV).

This will be the first time I have run on behalf of a non-governmental organization. For me, this run is about much more than completing 15.5 kilometers. It is about creating a little hope and light in the midst of uncertainty about the future. I want every step I take to contribute, even in a small way, to lighting the path of young people who wish to continue their education.
